By making this commitment, Zappos is joining Target, QVC, the Home Shopping Network, Nike, Polo Ralph Lauren, Gap, Forever 21, Wet Seal, and dozens of other companies and designers that have gone fur-free. Unfortunately, many other big-name retailers have yet to step up to the plate for animals. 

Please take just a few seconds to write to Amazon.com and ask that the company follow in Zappos' footsteps by dropping fur for good! The online megastore is currently selling a variety of fur products, including fur from rabbits and foxes.

Freshman-

Saturday- HOMECOMING!!! AAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!! omg i had this sweet blue dress that was so cute but anyways i was dancing and my friend uhhhh chairlie.. (lol joke) came up to me and was dancing with my friends and i so it was way fun. i was so happy because he's like sooo cool. lol anyways this went on for a few hours but then they anounced the queen and kings for each grade. (my friend reaecca and my other friend anthony one!!!) so they played a few slow songs and charlie aske if i wanted to dance. i said yes and that was that.

 Monday after he asked me out andi said yes

nothing more exciting happened really except he's the most amazing bf. he's sensaive kind, and nothing like david. he hasn't even kissed me yet but i feel closer to him than i have ever felt to david when i went out with him. omg it's aazing.

I have some great news! 

PETA has had a cooperative relationship with Liz Claiborne Inc. for many years. Through our work together, the company has made—and continues to make—many great strides to reduce the suffering of animals who are used and abused in the clothing industry. 

We would like to share an exciting development that has resulted from our discussions with Liz Claiborne Inc.: Juicy Couture—a high-end clothing company owned by Liz Claiborne Inc.—has now adopted a permanent fur-free policy. While Juicy Couture is still selling some fur items that were stocked before this policy was adopted, it has assured us that no new fur items will be procured and that as soon as the current stock of fur items is gone, the company will be completely fur-free. 

We applaud Liz Claiborne and Juicy Couture for making this move, which will spare animals from suffering all the torment and abuse inherent in fur production. 

Unfortunately, some companies continue to sell fur despite the fact that new evidence of horrific cruelty is exposed year after year. PETA Asia-Pacific's recent undercover investigation in the Shandong region of China, for instance, produced video footage of rabbits who kicked and screamed as they were slaughtered. Another investigation into rabbit fur farms in France showed similar cruelty. 

Freshman- ok so nothing happened lastweek except i already told u i did the petition thing but nothing really happened.  i had a good week but cheerleading was intense (not that i minded i love cheerleading) we had extra practice because of pep rally. lalso on the weekend i hung w. becca my cousin and  i met her friend dylan who was cool. 

this week again was uneventful except this guy i totally am in love with (friendly not creepy stalkerish love becca if u read u know who i'm talking about) right i was w. him after our concert a and hanging out and my parents and sistr totally embarrissed me i wanted to die. he's so cool and funny. but w.e things happen anyways, we had pep rally. i had to where some guys jersey wich spelled really bad so i washed it like five times. i at pep rally becuase we are the freshmen we got alot of haters but it was so much fun. our theme was farfar away frechmen like in shrek buti was in my uniform the dudes jersey and cat ears and tail w. my face semi painted as puss in boots.  (awsome haha) i 'm listening to pink - so what right now this is nicole saying good bye loves uall!

hay i know it's not friday but i waited for a reason. that reason is because i went to an amazing party last night and had to share.

Vegan- ok so this week was pretty cool because this girl who is a vegeterian came up to me and was talking to me. she told me about these returants in nyc that are all vegan. she then proceded to say that she'd kidnap me and take me some time. then a few minutes later she came up to me with a boy whom i know to be chad. he is also a vegertian but so is his whole family i believe. he asked me to home coming and i wish i'd said yes because he's incredibly cute  but i said no becuz i'd  already made up my mind to go alone with my friends so i wouldn''t be obligate to dance or hang w. just one boy but with a whole bunch of 'em. ok well back on topic

Freshman- nothing really to post except that i increseingly feel loved and accepted by more and more people. i finally feel i fit in with people. i feel like people aren't using me s a friend but accually like me. 

Prty_ to sum it up in wods would take to long. it was from 7-11pm. wen i first got there i didn't know anyone but i got to know people and danced and hang w. them the whole night. they also had great bonbn things

ok so i know i skipped a week but i'll catch u up. 

Vegan first. 

 ok so to day is hug a vegan day. i went a round all day with a sign that said " Free Vegan Hugs" so i got like a million and one hugs from strangers and friends. it was a nice day because i got to inform  alot of people about the meat industry and dairy industry and how they link. most people don't understand that even though milk doesn't kiil the cow, when the cow can't produce milk anymore it's sold to a slaughter house. thus eating dairy products causes the meat industries to thrive.  anyways i also met another vegan! i had no idea who he was but he's my friends brother. she was all hey fusco i want a hug i was like ok. so then she introduced me to him and it was kinda akward. but who cares. 

the bad_ ofcourse being a vegan entittles you to be teased just a little. this kid Joe D. (can't spell his name) was all "being a vegan is dumb. it's just stupid because your not makeing a diffrence"  and i calmy explained to him that i've save over 400 hundred animals by being Vegeterian/ vegan. then i had to get back at him and i'm alittle ashamed to say i went and said "how many have you saved? none that's right  your a walking graveyard" oh man i totally just  ruined any chances of him becoming a vegheadd. but w.e.. 

Freshman_ ok so i'll list things 

Gina vs. alexis_ both of them liked this guy josh ut alexis (wilde yes the same one who tried to steal david) was beig a B*tch and stealing all his attention even though she knows gina likes him so now gina wants to bash in alexis's face.

three amazing guys_ three diffrent guys asked me out. i had to say no because it's not fair if all i can think about is u know who. i love himso much. he can't ever know and i'm not going back. at least he seems to be over it. w.e.

movies_ i'm going to the movies yet agina to see batman tomarrow. with mike, mike, johnna, and ashley (if she can go)

ugghhh!!

Freshman life-
 david and i broke up.  it took only two days.

1. i got to cheer practice. mariah says she needs to talk to me. she tells me david is telling everyone he's going to brake up with me.

2. i take a walk with david and mention it to him. he deinies it i get quiet becuase i know he lied to me. he decides to tell truth and admitts it. i decide to forgive him

3. i go to school the next day. everything is good until shannon tells me she needs to talk to me. we go into the bathroom and she says David wants to break up with me for alexis. ( a few things to know about alexis 1. she's shannon's best frined 2. one of my best friends as well. 3. davids ex- girlfrined 4.she's dating one of my bestfrines (james.) 5.  she's a whore.) Shannon then tells me that alexis said she was going to say yes.

4. i start crying and attempt t avoid david (no luck). i get to lunch and mat (one of Davids best frineds and mine too) says nicole come her i need to talk to you. i go with him an he tells me that david told him he was going to break up with me for alexis. i say i know and decide then to brake up with him. i cry again.

5. i decide to tell it to him after shcool 'cuz i ssually c him by th e library and of course this had to be the one day MS. swift let us out late. i decide to call him and tell him. he understands that we're breaking up but doesn't know why becuz his phone had no service. i'm like if you want totalk meet me by my locker tomerrow )today)

6. i tell him. he gets really sad and at the end of school when he passes me and hands me anote. it says that the whole thing was bs and he never was gonna break up wth me. then he's all "no matter what you think i'll always love you." i'm like wtf  so now i have to talk to him again maybe tomarrow. 

i'm so upset i think i'll write abook about this one day..  (haha writers joke) i hate this nothing is simple with david...

   just becuz i was the one to brake up w. him this time doesn't mean i still don't love him., but he needs to understand that you don't mess any body like that. ecspecially sinse this is the third time he's done the same thing. i found out the last time he really didn't have any problems going on at home, he asked out alexis and because she said no he asked me back out. i fell like killing somepne but at the same time i wanna hug...

Vegan life-

today we went out to eat and there was nothing on the menue for me except for some gross chinese salad. it has like oranges and soy sauce and almonds and ewww!!!! so my dads all "this is not a healthy diet blah blah balh stop it now blah blah bla.." then katies all " nicole ur gonna kill yourself you have to eat" i'm like " i will when we get home." :she's all  "ine die" so then my dads like at least get a plate of onion rings (and vegan  is unhealthy) i refused aying it's made in te same oil the meat is. my dad rolls his eyes. so i don't upset him any more, ui order the dumb shinese slad thing. it was disgusting!!!! i almost puked... 

Anyways  what the moral is that paeople need to be more informed with veganism. the whole friggin restruant had only one thing icould eat.
