HEY Y'ALL!
ok so this week was pretty fun. i love english and spanish this year, though spanish is waaaaaay hard with homework! it's like u miss one home work per semester or quarter w.e and you automatically fail that part of you grade... but anyways band is sooo anoying!!!!!!! i really strongly dislike my band teacher. he's just freaky! i can't explain it. i feel likie the frechman's aren't like even part of the band anymore... ACR is fun but all we do is read like study hall. (i won't talk about lunch only to say that i don't have it wiith david along with none of my other classes. :(  ) art is really awsome i love the projects we do! they're awsome. that's pretty much it... nothing interesting happened and i don't have my hard classes to complain about until January.

OK NOW FOR SOMe VEGAN NEWS.

it is pretty easy this fist week to be Vegan so no new about me but check out these cool sites!
go to www.peta2.com/meatsnotgreen/index.asp to see how green your diet is. in other news peta has a new campaighn called "meat is not green"
Did you know that the United Nations found that the live stock industry   (meat and dairy producers) produces more green house-gas emissiona than all the cars, trucks and planes in the worl combined> in fact, studies show that you'll cut down on Green-house- gas emissions by switching to a Vegan diet than you will by getting a hybrid!?! more than that, all the water pollution, soil erosion, and wasted energey caused by the meat industry add up to a pretty devistating impact on the earth. DON'T YOU WANT YOUR GREAT GRAND CHILDREN TO LIVE ON THIS BEAUTIFUL PLANET AND NOT SOME HUNK OF METAL FLOATING IN SPACE?!?
to sighn the ccampaighn go to the same websit listed above.
that's all for mnow see u later!

So, vegan diet is better for the planet than more energy efficient cars. However, if a law was made that stated everyone had to become vegan, several things would happen:
First off, the vast majority of people that actually DID obey the law would think "oh, okay, now I'm helping the environment, so I can get a car with really crappy gas mileage just cuhs it looks cool and stuff, and the planet will be fine because I'm vegan. Nevermind how much junk is coming out of my car." Not only would this hurt our planet just as much as meat probably did, but the crappy gas mileage cars would cause the demand for oil to skyrocket, thus putting a slight dent in everyone's pocket. And when there's a dent in everyone's pocket, they can't buy stuff to put a dent there, thus hurting our economy.
Second off, have you ever heard those Wendy's "meatatarian" commercials? Well, a lot of people are actually like that. And a lot of people would be outraged that they had to become vegan. Not only would they start riots and cause great harm to vegans, but sleazy drug dealer-type people would start a sort of undercover meat-smuggling business, similar to the alchohol smuggling when alchohol was deemed illegal in the 1920's.
Despite all of my negative debating, I greatly support your choice to become vegan. That's a very difficult thing to do, and it's very admirable that you've stuck to it for two months. But leave them meat eaters alone;; it's how they were raised.

Much Love,
The ShiZ™

PS-For the record, I'm in the middle of attempting to persuade my parents to let me become vegetarian. I'm not bold enough to give up dairy, though. So congrats on your boldness, love.
